The Intercollegiate PU Science Fest- NOESIS 2K19 was conducted on 17th October 2019 in Auditorium organised by the Department of Science in collaboration with Science Association under the supervision of staff.

Objective:

  • To inculcate an interest towards Science and to enable students to have a scientific thinking and perspective

  • To enable students to organise and conduct the events for a larger audience

There were 12 events which included both individual and group events. The events included Quiz, Spell Bee, Treasure Hunt, Picto, Exhibition, Connections, Essay, Tangram, Shipwreck, Debate, Poster making, Rubik cubes which were consciously handpicked for the PU students.

The preparation for the Fest started earlier and NOESIS 2K19 was formally announced on 17th October 2019 with a flash mob where students from all years participated and the Principal declared the Fest open.

The inauguration started with an invocation song by the college choir which was followed by  lighting of the lamp by Rev. Fr. Sebastian George CMI, Principal, Christ PU college,  Rev. Fr. Ebin Francis CMI, Vice Principal, Christ college of science and management, Mr. Vijayakumar, Head, Department of  Science, Christ college of science and management , Mr. Rajanna, Assistant professor, Department of Science, Ms. Keerthi, Assistant Professor, Department of  Science, with Mr. Thominic Naveen Christy, President and Vishnu Balaji, Vice President of Science Association.

The students from six institutions participated for the events. Ashok Leyland Higher Secondary School, Asian Christian Academy, Christ PU College, Golden Independent School, Govt. Boys Hr. School and Govt. PU College. The overall trophy winners were students of Christ PU College.
