Admission Process

 

• ​All aspiring candidates are requested to apply online or through college office for the Admission.

 

• Result awaiting candidates can also apply for the course, Update Marks in the office once the result is available.

 

• Status of Candidate’s application and selection to counselling will be informed through Email, phone or College website.
   

• Admission will be based on the score secured in qualifying exam and their performance in counselling.
   

• Selected applicants in the interview will be informed about the reporting date through Email or phone.
   

• Admission formalities of submitting all available original documents and fees for the first Semester must be completed by the applicant on or before the reporting date. Otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.
   

• Parents / guardian must be present at the time of Admission process.

7. AIU Equivalency Certificate (for students who have done their qualifying

     examination in any curriculum other than Indian Educational Curriculum)

8. Five Passport size Photos

In addition to the above, NRI and Foreign Students should produce:
a. Valid Passport
b. Residential Permit from the Commissioner of Police Bengaluru (for foreign students only)

Eligibility

UG PROGRAMMES

​

BA Journalism, BA Psychology, BA English : Candidates with a higher secondary certificate or equivalent from a recognized Indian/ Foreign educational institution with 40% marks ( 35% for SC/ST students of Karnataka region) or Equivalent CG PA are eligible to apply.
 

​B.Sc Physics : Candidates who have completed two year pre-university course (plus two) from Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/board with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission into this course. Candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 11 and 12.

 

B.Sc Chemistry : Candidates who have completed two year pre-university course (plus two) from Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/board with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission into this course. Candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 11 and 12.

 

B.Sc Mathematics : Candidates who have completed two year pre-university course (plus two) from Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/board with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission into this course. Candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 11 and 12.

 

B.Sc Computer Science : Candidates who have completed two year pre-university course (plus two) from Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/board with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission into this course. Candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry , Mathematics and Computer science in class 11 and 12.

BVA (Animation and Multimedia Design): Candidates who have completed two year pre-university course (plus two) from Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/board with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission into this course.

BBA & BBA Aviation: Candidates who have completed two year pre-university course (plus two) from Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/board with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission into this course.

BCA: Candidates who have completed two year pre-university course (plus two) from Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/board with 40% are eligible or equivalent CGPA for admission into this course. Candidate should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects.

B.Com General & B.Com Logistics & SCM: Candidates who have completed two year pre-university course (plus two) from Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/board with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission into this course. Candidate should have studied Accountancy as one of the subjects.

B.Com with CA/CMA US/ACCA: Candidates who have completed two year pre-university course (plus two) from Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/board with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission into this course. Candidate should have studied Accountancy as one of the subjects.

PG PROGRAMMES

​​

M.Com (Master of Commerce): Candidates having degree in Commerce or Management of Bachelor's Degree of 3 years duration or its equivalent ( under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements for undergraduate programme from a recognized Indian/ Foreign university with 50% marks or Equivalent CG PA (45% for SC/ ST in Karnataka )) are eligible to apply.

M.Sc (Psychology): Candidates who have completed graduate programe Psychology, or have studied Psychology as one major subject from any university which is approved and recognized by UGC or its equivalent and has secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate for core subjects (in the case of SC/ST/Cat I students and blind students the minimum percentage of marks required shall be less than by 5%) are eligible for admission into this programme.

M.A (journalism and Mass Communication): Candidates who have completed graduate programme in Journalism and Mass Communication from any university which is approved and recognized by UGC or its equivalent and has secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate for core subjects (in the case of SC/ST/Cat I students and blind students the minimum percentage of marks required shall be less than by 5%) are eligible for admission into this programme.
