Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of our institution right since its inception.Christ College has always been much favoured talent hunting ground for corporate world as it delivers industry driven students.Placement and Training Department takes initiative to provide adequate training to students to enable them to have better employability skills compared to other colleges.

Christ College promotes career counselling through guidance lectures delivered by corporate personnel.Each of the students at Christ undergo mock interviews inclusive of resume preparation,aptitude test,personality development courses,group discussion alongside test performance in technical and HR interviews guided by professional trainers.

SARCI Automation Solutions Pvt. Ltd. , a leading software company shortlisted six candidates for one month internship and were further considered for placements based on their performance during this period.

The placement cell of Christ College has had another fruitful year in the academic year 2018-19. A workshop on “Job readiness program for graduate students on a mobile ready cloud-based e-learning format” and guest talk on “Campus to Corporate” were conducted during the odd semester.Training and Placement Cell in association with RATS Technology Training division is offering "Value added courses" for the students of final year from B.Com.,BBA, BCA and BA departments.The programs include:

Pooled Campus Placement Drive -an initiative by the Placement Cell were held on 5th March 2019 and 13th April 2019.In the Placement Drive held on 5th March 2019, the 2019 pass out students of all streams (BBA, B.Com, and BCA & BA) were eligible to take part. Students from other colleges such as St. Joseph College, Hosur & Global College took part in the placement drive. Nearly 35 students from other colleges participated.

Training & Placement cell organized a Pool– Campus Drive on 13th April 2019 for all final year students of BBA, BA, BCom & BCA of 2019 batch. Christ College hosted the campus drive where students from other prestigious institutions such as St. Joseph College, Kyati Degree College, Jnana Jyothi Degree College, TTIT and so on had attended. With 150 students participating in the placement process, Christ College witnessed 67 shortlisted candidates from 5 prominent companies namely Greet Technologies, ISON, QConneqt Technologies, Teleperformance, CPI Group Companies. Post three levels of selection process, 67 students were finally shortlisted by the HR team. Among these 41 students were from Christ College of Science and Management.

Placement Highlights- (2019-20 Batch)

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell for the academic year 2019-20 was inaugurated on 30th August 2019.After the inauguration, a guest talk on “Change begins with me” was given by the chief guest- Prof. Yuvaraj Ragunath Singh, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Microbiology, MGR College, Hosur.The guest talk was motivating, and it gave insights on the need to be proactive. In his talk, professor was able to throw light on the need to update and upgrade to be fore runners in the recruitment process. He urged the students to learn and increase their skill sets during their tenure in the college.
